Button creates contemporary oil paintings with an old world quality of succulent fruits and exotic animals; peacocks, persian cats, and primates. She is inspired by peculiarities of life, such as existence and the passage of time as well as beauties of nature and human desire.
Her style stems from her studies at The Sage in New York’s Capital Region and Parson’s School of Design in Paris, France. Joleen is currently an exhibiting Fine Artist and teaches at a Digital Media Arts College. |
